Within the MultiManager Balanced Growth, the nominees all had a comparatively high weighting to equities within their basic asset allocation. The result, during a period of poor returns for equity markets, was that only two funds managed a positive return over three years: Miton Strategic Growth Portfolio and the fettered Invesco Perpetual World Income fund.
