How did the judges come to choose this year's winners of the 'Investment Week' Investment Trust Manager of the Year Awards?

Started in 1999, at the centre of the awards is a judging panel made up of some of the UK's leading buyers of investment trusts as well as several senior board members with many years' experience in the industry. The aim of the awards is to highlight trusts that perform consistently and where, in the view of the judges, there is a high chance investors will not disappointed in the future.
