Guarantees offered on products are a key factor in encouraging people to invest, according to Alliance & Leicester's (A&L) Wealth Tracker survey. The survey, in which A&L asked a UK representative sample of 2,000 people, revealed that more than one in three people said they would be encouraged to invest if they were guaranteed growth on their investment, with a further 31% wanting a guaranteed income.
