New Star has launched a pan-European real-estate long/short fund headed up by Robin White. The Real Estate hedge fund aims to provide investors with absolute returns throughout different cycles. It invests listed securities with between 30 and 60 holdings, and can also buy sector swaps, real-estate funds and real-estate derivatives. The core universe comprises over 350 securities, with aggregate market capitalisation of $400bn.
