RWC Partners has poached Sofaer Capital's Chris Shale to co-manage its Asian product when it launches next month. RWC Partners, formerly MPC, already recruited Sofaer's Asia and emerging market specialists Carmel Peters and Kirsty McLaren in August. RWC Asia Ascent, which comes to market on 20 October, will invest across the full region and has the ability to go short where managers see opportunities.
