FTSE 100-linked Protected growth and capital plus products carry 100% capital protection

Morgan Stanley is to offer a brace of structured products linked to the FTSE 100, with both offering 100% capital protection. The first plan, FTSE Protected Growth 5, has identical terms to the previous tranche, offering an early redemption option if the FTSE 100 has risen by 30% or more after three years. If the index has grown to that extent, the investor can either choose to receive 130% of initial investment at that point or allow the plan to continue on terms offered at the time.
