Despite volatility in Chinese markets sending global equities into decline, emerging markets remain an important investment area, according to UK-based managers. Slim Feriani, chief investment officer at Progressive, says he had made no changes to his portfolios following recent volatility because he feels market timing is not advisable in emerging markets.
