The Neptune China fund continues to benefit from increasing domestic Chinese consumer spending, according to assistant manager Shelley Kuhn. The £9.5m fund, which launched in 2004, is currently leading the IMA Asia Pacific ex Japan sector over 12 months to mid-October. The fund has reported bid to bid growth of 38.19% to mid-October 2006. The closest China-only fund in the sector is the Gartmore China Opportunities fund, with growth of 32.47% over the period.
