Investment Week has learned that Axa Rosenberg is considering a Ucits III structure for retail versions of a long-short strategy launched for institutional investors. The 130/30 Limited Shorting Strategy, launched this month, offers 160% exposure to global and regional markets by investing 130% of the portfolio in long-only stocks and shorting 30%. Primarily a quants house, Axa Rosenberg said its proprietary investment models naturally identify stocks to short.
