Managers of the £2.7bn Alliance Trust are looking for market weakness to re-invest in Asia, rebuild US exposure in selected mid- and small-cap stocks and add to European positions in the coming months. Over six months to 31 July, pre-tax revenue rose to £30.6m up from £28.2m in the same period last year. That said, the company's net asset value per share fell by 1.3% and the share price by 1.1% over the same period.
