With oil prices on the up, natural resources funds are becoming increasingly popular as several of this weekend’s papers noted. The Telegraph pointed out that an investment into an energy fund just three years ago would have quadrupled by today and advisers are saying that though the sector is risky in the short term, alternative energy is a fairly sound long term investment.
