The best way to make returns from clean energy

The opportunities to make big returns in clean energy are growing but the routes to investment remain limited, explains Martina Turner, manager of the VAM Accessible Clean Energy fund

Investors saw a 16% year-on-year increase in investment in clean energy in 2014 to reach $310bn globally. China led the way with 32% spending growth, followed by Japan, at 12%, and the US, 8%. India is also investing heavily.
