Neil Woodford's exit from Invesco Perpetual was the story of this year, following the announcement of his exit at the end of 2013. However, Invesco had also suffered an earlier blow with the late 2012 departure of Paul Boyne and Doug McGraw. Their Global Equity Income portfolio was becoming a real force, but the duo's decision to join Manulife Asset Management threw a spanner in the works.
