Five global property value picks for 2014


The rally in the UK property market has continued unabated into 2014, with the majority of UK-focused trusts trading on significant premiums.

While buyers have warned against investing in such vehicles at current levels, a number of opportunities exist in more esoteric trusts, according to Nick Greenwood, manager of the Miton Worldwide trust. Here, he names five trusts on significant discounts that could be accessed by more adventurous investors. 1 Alpha Real Estate  Formerly an Indian property specialist, the trust ‘blew up’ during the financial crisis and fell to a discount of about 80%.
