Latest sector to house 17 funds under loose absolute return criteria
The IMA's Absolute Return sector has met with general approval from advisers and fund managers, although it will not solve the problems of comparison between the vehicles. The sector has come about as a result of pressure from within the industry, with advisers and multi-managers finding it hard to select from absolute return funds dotted around the various sectors.
