China funds have dominated the Asia Pacific sector over the last three years, reflecting the region's massive growth in recent years. Within these, thematic calls on energy, industrials and consumer stocks have boosted returns among the top-performers. Charlie Awdry's Gartmore China Opportunities is the best-performing fund in the sector over the last three years, with a cumulative return of 118.71% against a sector average of 70.8% according to data from Morningstar.
