Artemis manager believes background of Government protection and consolidation is creating unique opportunity within investment grade financials
Artemis Strategic Bond fund managers James Foster and Alex Ralph are marking the vehicle's third anniversary with top-notch performance despite re-entering financials too early last year. In general, the managers believe credit will struggle, but highlight opportunities in financials based on their unique environmental project. Their fund reports top-quartile 7.2% growth over three years to 21 July according to Morningstar, ranking it fifth out of 44 competitors in the UK Other Bond sector.
