Since Hugh Cuthbert took over the SVM Continental Europe fund in January 2006, he has focused his attention on misjudged stocks that have largely been ignored by most market analysts. The approach has worked well so far, with the £22.6m fund continuing to outperform its sector over the past year and maintaining top-decile returns since launch in 2000.
