Manager outperforms with underweight financials stance and cautious investment style

Ian Spreadbury has been running fixed income portfolios for Fidelity International since 1995. As well as MoneyBuilder Income, which launched in October of that year, he also runs MoneyBuilder Growth alongside Matthew Siddle and the Extra Income and Sterling Bond funds for the group. MoneyBuilder Income is currently ranked 25 among its peers in IMA £ Corporate Bond, yielding -6.3% over one year to 6 April, versus the sector average of -12.5%.
