Equity income manager Paul Branigan's multi-cap investment approach yields rapid outperformance to Premier Dividend fund over year to 5 November
The Premier Dividend fund was brought back under Premier's remit from UBS last year following a manager change at Swiss giant. It was handed to equity income manager Paul Branigan in 2006 after he joined from Axa Framlington, where he worked for more than a decade. Already his balanced multi-cap approach has helped the fund outperform, and over the year to 5 November it returned 9.8% bid to bid, ranking it 16th in the UK Equity Income sector, according to Morningstar.
