Aegon Sterling Corporate Bonds tops IMA peer group 20 percentage points ahead of bottom performer
There was little performance disparity in the 85-fund UK Corporate Bond sector over three years to the end of September, with the best performer returning 25.88% and the worst 5.75%. Over the cumulative three-year period the best bid-to-bid performer was the £480m Aegon Sterling Corporate Bond fund, according to data from Standard & Poor's. The portfolio, which invests primarily in sterling-denominated investment grade corporate bonds and government bonds, achieved returns of 25.88% compared to the sector average of 16.25%.
