Saracen resting on investment pillars

Group's growth fund, managed by Jim Fisher and Julian Fosh, has topped UK All Companies sector over three years, with overweights in oils, tobacco and healthcare

There is little uniformity among the top-performing funds in the UK All Companies sector with top-down and bottom-up strategies both strategies achieving success. Standing out from its competitors as the best three-year performer is the Saracen Growth fund, co-managed by Jim Fisher and Julian Fosh, which takes a determinedly non-thematic, stockpicking approach.
