Stanley brings small-cap skills to UK Dynamic fund

Small-cap specialist has produced top-decile returns on F&C UK Dynamic vehicle since taking over from Makis Kaketsis at the end of last year

Catherine Stanley took over the F&C UK Dynamic portfolio at the end of last year, following the departure of Makis Kaketsis to hedge fund boutique Altima Partners. Stanley co-manages the vehicle with F&C's head of UK equities Peter Lees as a best-idea portfolio pulled together from various UK desks. Over three months to 23 June, the multi-cap offering ranks 23 out of 326 All Companies funds with a return of 8.1% against 3.4%.
