Joint CBI and PWC report finds fund management groups predicting a return to the market for the retail investor in the forthcoming Isa season
As the 2004 Isa season gets under way, fund management groups are confident the UK retail investor is going to return to the market. That is one of the main findings of the latest joint CBI and PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC) quarterly survey of the financial services industry. The strong rise in UK equities since March 2003 is being cited by fund manager respondants as a major reason they believe the volume of business via private individuals will grow.
