James Syme begins to improve performance on emerging ranges focusing on domestic demand story

James Syme joined Barings in October last year to head up the global emerging markets team after running emerging markets money at Henderson and SG Asset Management for 10 years. His main responsibilities are acting as lead manager on the Global Emerging Markets fund as well as Emerging Opportunities. He co-manages the Latin American fund and also works on other non-retail products.
