Simon Haines has worked with Threadneedle since graduating in 1999, and now runs the £29m UK Mid 250 fund. He took over the vehicle in January 2005 after researching a series of sectors as an analyst and running a small in-house fund for the group. He has taken the fund into the top-quartile of the peer group generating 96.9% bid to bid over three years, compared to the UK All Companies sector average of 73.5%, according to Morningstar.
