Edinburgh boutique has maintained top-quartile performance by investing directly in UK equities and bonds and via funds for international exposure

Since Cornelian Asset Managers launched its Balanced fund into the market three years ago, the vehicle has maintained top-quartile performance. The Edinburgh private client boutique launched the £11m vehicle in April 2005, alongside a Growth offering, headed up by Marcus Brooks and Stephen Hunter. These funds aim to give investors a full spread of assets, from the traditional equities, bonds and property to private equity and funds of hedge funds.
