Perennial emerging market sector leaders lose ground to global funds
Strong returns from Brazil, India, China (Bric) and South Korea have helped global emerging market managers catch up with perennial sector leaders Jupiter Emerging European Opportunities and Credit Suisse European Frontiers. Jupiter's sector-leading emerging European fund has fallen behind Fidelity's Institutional Emerging Markets over three years to 17 September 2007. The gap between Elena Shaftan's popular offering and global emerging market funds from Axa Framlington, Baillie Gifford and F&C has also narrowed.
