Inv Perp's Katharina Hoyland shares ideas across European Equity Income and European High Income funds, focusing on stocks with emerging market presence
Invesco Perpetual has launched two Europe-focused funds in the space of six months for equity income specialist Katharina Hoyland. European Equity Income came to market in December last year and after a slow start has now attracted £30m of investment. Hoyland has been buying companies with a presence in emerging markets to limit exposure to slowing developed economies. Last month, the group followed European Equity Income with the launch of the European High Income fund, made up of 50% bonds and 50% European equities.
