Active Managed sector has seen tough three years with only two funds in the sector posting positive returns and average manager down 11%
It has been a tough few years for the Active Managed sector, with the average fund losing 11.4% over three years to 13 October according to data from Morningstar. One of only two funds in the peer group to deliver a positive return over the period is Ruffer Equity & General. The £86m vehicle, run by Alex Grispos ranks first in the sector over three months and three years, and second over one year.
