Chinese funds dominate Asia ex Japan peer group over three years, with top-performing Gartmore and Neptune managers still bullish on the region
Asian managers are still optimistic on the region's outlook despite the recent correction and redemptions across funds. Those among the top performers in the Asia Pacific ex Japan region believe growth will remain robust even if there is a global slowdown. Gartmore's Charlie Awdry, who runs the £761m China Opportunities fund, said China will continue to fare well given the state of the rest of the world's economies.
