Two funds from Aberdeen manager and Invesco Perpetual Pacific deliver best returns in small Asia Pacific inc Japan peer group

BY aimee savage The Asia Pacific including Japan sector is topped by the St James's Place Far East fund over three years to the end of September, with bid to bid performance of 69.84% against 55.86%. Launched in 1992 and managed by Aberdeen Asset Management's Hugh Young, the £219m offering aims to achieve capital growth from investments in the stock markets of Japan, the Far East and the Pacific Basin.
