We look at how badly the pundits fared last time. Plus, if you've ever fancied playing on a Premiership ground then now is your chance. So get your thinking caps on and enter our Villa Quiz

Our three resident football experts, DWS's Michael Warren and Andy Clark and former editorial director at Investment Week Lawrence Gosling, proved once again that none of them are going to retire on the quality of their football predictions.

Clark, who has been known to have the odd flutter on the beautiful game, excelled only in his prediction of Arsenal to win at Blackburn - hardly the most inspired forecast of all time, particularly as he supports the Gooners.

Meanwhile, both Warren and Gosling can claim the high ground this week for one 'intelligent prediction' each, with Warren claiming the title of 'Unofficial predicitor of the week' after his smart call of Southampton to win away at Middlesbrough.

Gosling's punt on a 1-0 home win for Bolton against Norwich was a decent enough performance, but again not exactly inspiring given Bolton's ability to grind out 1-0 wins.

The predicting team were given the weekend off because of the World Cup qualifiers, but will be back on duty in a couple of week's time on 11 April, when we will have a league table of how they have fared so far.

Let's have a closer look at how they got on last time around:

Blackburn v Arsenal

Result: 0-1

AC: AWAY

MW: DRAW

LG: DRAW

'Class will tell,' said Gooner Clark ahead of this game, which was pretty much all he got right this weekend.

Birmingham v Aston Villa

Result: 2-0

AC: DRAW

MW: HOME

LG: HOME

Having seen plenty of Aston Villa this season, through their sponsorship of the club, the DWS pairing realised the Villa's away form is nothing to write home about. In retrospect a Blues win was obvious, especially when Villa keepers have had an uncanny knack of gifting Birmingham at least one goal in every derby game played over the past couple of years.

Liverpool v Everton

Result: 2:1

AC: DRAW

MW: DRAW

LG: AWAY

Amazingly after Liverpool's dismal midweek performance against Blackburn, all three pundits got this game badly wrong. One of them will be predicting Liverpool win the Champions League next!

Charlton v West Brom

Result: 1-4

AC: HOME

MW: DRAW

LG: HOME

Any kind of bet for an away win would have landed a tidy sum on this game, which just goes to prove how exciting and unpredictable the Premiership can be. Nil points for our pundits on this one.

Chelsea v Crystal Palace

Result: 4-1

AC: HOME

MW: HOME

LG: HOME

The total banker of the weekend - even all our pundits got it right - as Chelsea's relentless march to their first title in 50 years continues.

Boro v Southampton

Result: 1-3

AC: DRAW

MW: AWAY

LG: HOME

Undoubtedbly the best prediction of the weekend goes to Mr Warren, for his inspired selection of an away win for Southampton - it was their first of the season.

Bolton v Norwich

Result: 1-0

AC: DRAW

MW: DRAW

LG: HOME

'It's got 1-0 written all over it,' said Gosling, with the same certainty as when Clark talked about Arsenal's class.

Portsmouth v Newcastle

Result: 1-1

AC: AWAY

MW: AWAY

LG: AWAY

How little the three gurus really know. Newcastle might be in the running for two cups, but an away league win, even against Portsmouth, is beyond their current revival.

Man Utd v Fulham

Result: 1-0

AC: HOME

MW: HOME

LG: HOME

A total banker of a home win, even if Sir Alex Ferguson thought most of his team played like a bunch of bankers.

Spurs v Man City

Result: 2-1

AC: HOME

MW: HOME

LG: HOME

Tempting to say this was another home banker, but given the unpredictability of both sides it wasn't, although it turned out to be. Funny old game football.

Have you ever wanted to play football at a top Premiership ground? Now you can, thanks to DWS Investments, sponsors of Aston Villa.

DWS has negotiated with the club to allow teams of independent advisers to tread the hallowed turf of Villa Park, the scene of many top games over the years.

So now is your chance to follow in the footsteps of Ryan Giggs, who memorably scored an FA Cup extra-time winner on this ground in 1999, when he waltzed through the Arsenal defence before smacking the ball past Seaman. However, you're not allowed to take your shirt off, like he did, if you score a goal.

Because this is such a prestigious, once in a lifetime opportunity there are only limited places available. But DWS has reserved space for two teams of seven advisers to play.

To stand a chance of winning you must complete the football quiz below and send your answers in to the address below by 21 April.

The big day is on Thursday 14 May. The first match starts at 10am, so you must be able to get your team up to Villa Park and be registered, ready to play by 9am at the latest.

The DWS Champions League will be made up of 20 teams (consisting of a squad of 7/8 players) to be drawn in four groups, with the top two teams in each group going forward to the knockout stages (quarters and then semi-finals). The last two will play for the honour of being the winner of the inaugural trophy.

The deadline for sending in your answers is Thursday 21 April and the names of the winners will be published in Investment Week and on IFAonline on Monday 25 April.
