In its third annual SDG Reckoning report, M&G Investments has highlighted the increasingly crucial role investors must play to deliver progress towards the UN SDGs. The report analyses the progress of one key metric assigned to each goal to measure the trajectory year-on-year. Only two SDGs showed improvement: SDG three: Good Health and Wellbeing. The metric utilised by the group is the number of countries that certify as malaria-free globally. By the end of 2021, this totalled 41, up from 39 in 2020.
