Any retail investor out there hoping to access some long-term assets via a new fund model may well feel they’ve been visited by the Grinch this year.

Speaking to several platforms, Cristian Angeloni found that investors are fresh out of luck, with access to the Innovative Finance ISA not on the agenda any time soon. As such, the LTAF - and still mystical "open-ended property funds with extended notice periods" - will remain out of reach as platforms tussle with the case for the IFISA.
