JP Morgan European Discovery replaces long-standing manager duo over performance issues

JP Morgan European Discovery investment trust has replaced long-standing portfolio managers Francesco Conte and Edward Greaves with Jon Ingram, Jack Featherby and Jules Bloch, effective 1 March.

The trio will replace the pair following an internal review of the portfolio management team and its investment process held by the trust's board and JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM). Analysts at Winterflood revealed the board confirmed the decision to replace the manager duo was made due to relative performance issues. Conte has managed the trust since 1998 and has spent more than 26 years at JPMAM. He joined from Schroder Securities, where he was a lead analyst within the Italian equities team.
