Former Jupiter CEO Maarten Slendebroek to chair Brooks Macdonald

Investment manager Brooks Macdonald has appointed Maarten Slendebroek as chair, subject to regulatory approval.

Slendebroek has also become non-executive director with immediate effect and replaces acting chair Richard Price. Brooks Macdonald and IG Group scale back staff to cut costs "Maarten has extensive experience in financial services, including as chief executive of Jupiter for five years from February 2014 and as chair of the supervisory board of Robeco since August 2020," said senior independent director Robert Burgess.
