Waystone Group completes acquisition of Link Fund Solutions

Waystone Group has completed the acquisition of Link Fund Solutions’ UK and Irish business, as all regulatory and contractually conditions have been satisfied.

The completion of the deal marks the meeting of a significant condition to release the potential settlement for investors in the former Woodford Equity Income fund, if they vote in favour of the scheme. The deal adds $190bn in assets under oversight and administration to Waystone, as well as 600 staff, expanding the firm's presence in existing and new jurisdictions, including India.
