Byrne named ASI global equities head as Docherty steps down

Aberdeen Standard Investments has promoted Dominic Byrne to head of global equities, succeeding Stephen Docherty who is stepping down due to personal reasons.

Byrne, who has been deputy head of global equities since 2018, is also co-manager of the SLI Global Equity Impact SICAV. He joined the UK Equity team at Standard Life in 2000, before joining the Global Equity team in 2008, and has since managed a range of global equity strategies.
