SJP acquires independent Scottish adviser firm

St James's Place (SJP) has acquired Linlithgow-based adviser firm Policy Services, a firm used by the advice giant to service clients with non-SJP policies and plans.

Policy Services has been a longstanding provider of administration, fee reconciliation and advice services to partners of SJP and their clients who hold non-SJP policies and plans. Following the completion of the acquisition, Policy Services will be completely owned by SJP, though continue to operate as an independent trading entity. There will be no changes in business operations at the Scottish firm.
