Fund management company Fundsmith has appointed Scott Chivers as its sales director to IFAs.
Chivers, who was a business development manager at previous firm Franklin Templeton Investments, will be responsible for marketing to IFAs.
Prior to Franklin Templeton, the sales director worked in investment sales at M&G Investments and International Financial Data Services.
Fundsmith founder and chief executive Terry Smith said: "We are pleased to welcome Scott to Fundsmith to focus on the fast growing number of IFAs who have chosen Fundsmith for their clients' investments.
"He has many longstanding relationships and will greatly help our efforts to communicate Fundsmith's long-term investment approach to this investment community."
Chivers graduated from the University of Essex with a degree in financial management before gaining his CFA Investment Management Certificate and a diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
