Shirley is a director and a senior research analyst, covering Industrials, Utilities and select consumer names. She joined the firm in 2007 directly after completing graduate school. While earning an M.B.A, she worked as a summer associate at T. Rowe Price and initiated coverage of the engineering and construction industry. Earlier investment experience included broad research responsibilities for a large-cap core equity portfolio at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. She was also a small- and mid-cap equity analyst and a member of the Investment Committee at Steinberg Asset Management. Shirley received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University with a B.A. in economics. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
