Where next for the oil price?

One minute we are all doomed, and the next it is all sweetness and light. I am talking about oil.

Tentative talk about holding output this month and suddenly oil's great swoon is over. But then within hours, the realism sets in again and oil prices keep falling. Do not be fooled, though. Oil prices will still go even lower and that will probably drag equities down with them in the short term. I would contend that equity investors are looking in the wrong place for the genuine game changer when it comes to energy and the Middle East.
