Invesco Perpetual's Paul Causer admits his new fund launch will polarise opinion.

It is true some investors will be swayed by the potential for the Global Financial Capital fund while others are likely to avoid it with a barge pole. The fund will be run by Causer and fellow co-head of fixed income Paul Read, as well as CIO Nick Mustoe who will manage the equity portion of the portfolio. The fund management team’s credentials alone may be enough to get investors at least looking at the fund, with Causer and Read’s other bond funds mainstays on the majority of buylists.
