Investec's Alastair Mundy has won Morningstar's inaugural qualitative award category: the Morningstar UK Equity Fund Manager of the Year award.
This new award draws on research undertaken by Morningstar’s UK fund analysts to recognise one fund manager who not only had a strong 2009, but who has also done well for investors over the long term. Given recent volatility, this methodology provided our analysts with something of a conundrum.
