The year before Investment Week was set up in January 1995, I worked for the Reuters News Agency on the foreign exchange desk. It was a great patch, full of real characters, particularly in the trading community such as Sheepy (an Aussie), Deadly (he was also a night club bouncer) and Bust (because every trading desk he worked on got closed down).
