Conflicting signs of the industry's readiness for RDR changes are emerging, after the FSA announced yet another delay earlier this month. On the one hand, we have AWD Chase Vere attempting to set a precedent by implementing customer agreed remuneration (CAR). Meanwhile, the FSA's latest mystery shopping exercise revealed three out of five firms failed to offer appropriate fee options, and a third actually dissuaded clients from going down that charging route.
