I shamelessly admit to having 'borrowed' the idea for this column from Interactive Investor website www.iii.co.uk. Under the title 'Would football pundits make better stock tipsters?' it is heaven for a football bore and fund manager-watcher such as myself. The blog - which in itself is a little disappointing - starts: "As a group, stock-market tipsters don't make particularly good forecasters. Neither do football pundits.
