J.P. Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has hired Vanguard's Andrew Moore as an ETF capital markets specialist amid a recruitment drive for its international ETF business.
Based in London, Moore will be responsible for maintaining relationships with authorized participants, market makers and the wider ETF space.
He joins from Vanguard Asset Management where he held a number of roles over five years including as ETF capital markets analyst, operations specialist and fund accountant.
Prior to Vanguard, he started his career at Principal Investment Management before joining BNY Mellon.
JPMAM has also hired Antonia Millard as a sales executive where she will be responsible for supporting the firm's international ETF business.
Based in London, Millard joins from JP Morgan's Corporate & Investment Bank where she was an industrials sales specialist within the markets division.
The firm also appointed Philip Annecke as ETF distribution head for Germany and Austria, and Roberta Gastaldello as ETF distribution head for Italy, while Tobias Nilsson has joined as an ETF specialist covering the Nordics.
Bryon Lake (pictured), head of international ETFs at JPMAM, commented: "We are very excited to have Philip, Roberta, Tobias, Andrew and Antonia on board with us.
"The collective wealth of industry and ETF experience brought by these new hires significantly enhances our ability to serve clients in key markets.
"As we rapidly expand our ETF product offerings across Europe, having local ETF distribution expertise is a key part of our strategy."
Since entering the European ETF space in November last year, the firm has launched five products, two alternative beta ETFs and three fixed income ETFs, which were unveiled in March.
In April, Lake told Investment Week he is looking to harness the firm's scale in the active space to launch ETF products across all asset classes.
