Ascot Lloyd appoints Graham Bentley as investment committee chairman

Replaces former OMGI bond fund manager Stewart Cowley

Ascot Lloyd has appointed Graham Bentley as the independent chairman of its investment committee, replacing former Old Mutual Global Investors bond fund manager Stewart Cowley.

Bentley will take responsibility for chairing quarterly investment meetings, which review all areas of Ascot Lloyd's broad centralised investment proposition. Unlike Cowley, Bentley will be chair of the entire group's investment committee, rather than solely focusing on Avellemy, the discretionary fund management model portfolio service sister company to Ascot Lloyd.  Bentley has previously held senior roles Henderson, M&G and Old Mutual during his 40-year career.
